Moving Gender Series Somato Intersectional Choreographies

Maud is a French artist, choreographer, philosopher and poet. Her transdisciplinary practice brings together training in Fine Art (University of Nottingham) and Performance Making (Goldsmiths University). Her research is centered on reproduction (mechanisms and the bodies of) and touch as practice and ethics. She is PhD candidate at Goldsmiths under the supervision of Prof Anna Furse. Maud has presented her research at and is a member of PeARL: a transdisciplinary laboratory of performance & research between London and Moscow; she is a published author: ‘Per-forming the Sense of Touch: A Spatio-Temporal Embodied Technology of Resistance’ (2020); she has co-designed and is the co-facilitator of the performance/creative writing workshop: Writing the breastfeeding body (Nottingham Trent University’s Postcolonial Studies Centre).
