Joani Groenewald is a jewellery designer, goldsmith, artist and researcher. She is a lecturer in the Visual Arts Department at Stellenbosch University, South Africa. Joani sees her technical grounding in jewellery design as a medium that allows her to engage with conceptual art practices. She is currently enrolled for a PhD in Jewellery and Object Design at PXL-MAD Hasselt (Belgium) and Stellenbosch University (South Africa).
